An Adventure Story
I had an odd dream last night. It went like this: First, a boy called Mike was so clever that he build a time machine all by himself. He made it because his homework was to write an essay about harbors in Hong Kong. The time machine was cool, but complicated.
Mike went to 350 years ago. He landed in Sai Kung. After he came out of the machine, he saw a lot of plants and animals he didn’t know. Good that he took his camera, because he could take photos of the odd creatures. He also needed the photos to complete the essay.
Suddenly, a strange, dirty and messy man approached Mike. The man held a spade with some fish stuck on it. Mike was shocked and tried to run away, but a dozen other men came from behind. ‘They must be pirates.’ The brainy boy said under his breath. His head was spinning. Should he become a pirate himself, die or become a prisoner? He decided to become a pirate. Mike introduced himself and told them about the time machine. Before he did, his new friends swore never to tell anybody about it. At last, they became time-travelling pirates.
